"I wanted an amp that was voiced for clean playing (most modern amps are voiced for crunch). I also wanted it to be as small and light as possible (18Kg).
This 30 watt amp sounds as sweet as any vintage amp when played clean. The transition to crunchy is very smooth, and if you want crunch at a lower volume you can replace the 6L6's with 6V6's for a 15 watt amp.
The amp is cathode biased for a smoother grind and so different output tubes does not require re-biasing. It is the perfect amp for clubs, recording or just making glorious noise." Lindy Fralin
