Noise Cancelling System

The Backpplate Noise Cancelling System (BPNCS) for Stratocasters and Pick-guard Noise Cancelling System (PGNCS) for Telecasterss from Ilitch Electronics effectively cancels the noise while keeping the true single coil pickup tone intact.

Anyone can install the BPNCS since it doesn't require any modifications to the guitar. All instructions are included with the noise cancelling system and are available online.

For Stratocaster’s;

  1. 1.Unscrew the guitar pick-guard,

  2. 2.Replace the existing back plate tremolo cover

  3. 3.Solder the wires to the existing guitar electronics (following the provided BPNCS user's manual and installation instruction),

  4. 4.Assemble back the guitar and you are ready to play it again.

The system does require all three pickups wound in the same direction, (non-reverse-middle). If you have Fralin pickups in your guitar we will exchange your reverse middle pickup at no charge when buying a system.
The Stratocaster system is also available in an open tremlo cut backplate.

For Telecasters, the install procedure is much the same as the Stratocaster installation procedure;
1. Unscrew the original guitar pick-guard,

  1. 2.Modify the pickup output wires to meet the wiring schematic,

  2. 3.Run the noise cancelling system wires to the control cavity and solder the wires to the existing guitar electronics.

  3. 4.Re-Assemble the guitar and you are ready to play again.
